Feature Request: Improved Tethering
I'm not sure whether it's leashing or tethering, but the current code has an NPC *poof* back at their spawn/guard spot when the player moves them too far away.
Would it be a feasible change to make them run back to the spot instead of poofing? Ideally they'd go untargetable and unattackable until they got back there.
Would look a lot less weird than the instant move, I think. Would appear more like when their target dies or feigns, only they'd run back to their post instead of walking, since it activates only when they're being pulled out to their max leash range. Walking wouldn't make sense at all long distances.
Continuing to heal and also going untargetable/unattackable while they run back would prevent both exploiting and griefing, I think.
