i know alot of people who had alot more fun doing pvp than doing the same old kill mob loot mob and get exp thing. maybe its just me...but i feel like ive accomplished something when killing someone, or trying.. rather than quiting the 156th non legit/custom item server.

There have been a few pvp servers in the past, but they usually dont last long. They start strong than fall like a rock

Default Computer Upgrades

Once the computer repairs are complete, the Adventurer's Lair PVP server will be back up. The server is undergoing heavy repair and even an upgrade or two. Be on the look out...

For those who have played on this server.... your characters will be still there. We will not be upgrading to version 8 until all of the rest of the servers go to 8.

you could even replace the entire thing by saying spending 552 hours leveling to 120 just to loot some shit... and then having the server go down is fun like spending 553 hours doing the same thing on another server.

I agree. I've been out of the Emu for a while, I was disapointed to see Guildwars wasn't there. That was by far one of the best while I was around; there was more people on that one server than there are on the entire Emu.

What happened to it by the way?

It went down because of GM favoritism, eventually everyone got sick of it, then everyone quit, and they had such low numbers that it just shut down. But ya GW was the best eq experience i have ever had (in its prime). Been sort of looking for another server to play on like it ever since.
