Probably need a box acting as your firewall your PS2 has to route packets through to get them on the net running a packet sniffing utility like ethereal...

Most ISPs (at least here) provide you with 2 IPs. So if you connect your PC and PS2 to an unswitched hub each device would get an it's own external IP you could capture the PS2's packets as they broadcast trhough the hub.

*edit*

Or if you only get one IP and use a router to connect more than one thing to the net. Connect the hub to the router and your devices to the hub and you will be able to sniff the packets after that have been NATed to the internal IPs.

I decrypted a few packets and found all my chars names in all my servers . I found about 10 severs that we cant see in the server selection screen.
I also found some npc information and all my macro command lines. I also found all my spells , and the armor and weapons in my inv and what I looked at in the auctions. and the zone im in too.

If any one wants to help me get a eqoa server emulator going send me a pm.

I don't mean what programs did you use, I mean how did you decrypt the packets themselves? What do the payloads look like? Is the header different than what you see in our code? Any encryption?
