Default ~ " Don't have permission! Help!!! "~

Hey guys, just wanted to say I am extreamly excited to finally play EQ Classic again. But on that note: after following all the steps to get this all installed the way I need to i've come to a ROADBLOCK, please help!

When trying to rename the eqhost.txt file, it doesnt allow me; it says as follows:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Everquest\eqhost.txt
You don't have permission to save in this location.
Contact the administrator to obtain permission.

Act,.... just started reading these forums. Hope this question hasn't already been asked. But I also noticed I have it posted in the wrong section. If this could get moved, would be appreciated. Thank you

There's probably a few different ways of resolving this, but I believe the issue is that you don't have administrative permission to save the file.

-Browse to.. C:\Windows\System32 (or your equivalent)
-Right click on notepad.exe
-Select 'Run as Administrator'
-In Notepad, File/Open.. browse to eqhost.txt, make your changes and try to save it with administrative privileges.
