Default Merchant max items

is there anyway to raise the amount of items a merchant can sell? seems the default is 80 items anyone know a way to change this if there is a way?

I am sure that is something that would have to be changed in the source, but it probably wouldn't be all too hard to make the change I imagine. Unless there is some sort of limitation on that client-side, which I wouldn't be too surprised about considering all of the limitations in the client.

But, do you really want players to have to scroll through more than 80 items? That seems like an awful lot to me lol. I think it is probably best to categorize items sold by multiple merchants and you can set the last name in the NPC table to describe what they sell.

I imagine that you are wanting to do this for selling spells, since you mentioned that. IMO, having a list of more than 80 spells on 1 vendor would be hell for players, since they would have to check each one to see if they can scribe it at their level. It is probably best to at least break it down by class per every 10 levels of spells or something like that.

ya looks like i am going to go with my original plan to have 1 merchant for 1-30 spells and 1 for 31-50 spells, yar this will make it easier for players but not for me haha but thats the way it goes
