I have a current upto date Install of EQ which i play, i decided to try this EQEmu.

so i copied the EQ directory to a new Directory, followed the setup instructions by changing the EQHosts file and putting patcme on the shortcut.

Run the shortcut, registered a new account, entered my details, hit login and EVERY time EQGame.exe crashes... any suggestions?

I believe the install is currently the latest patched version of EQ

Yes. and there-in lies your problem. If you had searched at all you would see the same response given out many times.

EQEMU will NOT work with latest live patches. sorry

Your best bet is to try your luck at soe of the specific server's patchers and hope u can get on that way
