Default Cannot Attack After Death

If I die in the same zone that I am bound, I cannot attack anything until I zone and come back in (I guess since I don't zone when I respawn because I am in "that" bound zone). I did this twice once after a server reboot so I am unsure what is going on. Thought I would mention it.

Happened to me on Maze's Test Bed, died, revived some how, and the window stayed up. I had to camp out and come back on to fix it.

Yes I am using the death window and sometimes it doesn't go away so I have to log out and back in. This happened with 3 different characters and I am using the Underfoot client. The source code I am using for EQEmu is about 2 days old now.

The death hover windows has never been fully implemented. Te first go at it mostly worked as you have seen.

I haven't played too much with the Death Hover window...

I do seem to remember that it had two options, and selecting one of them may have given problems like you are referring to.

I also think that if the timer runs out, you will have that issue as well.


There had been issues in the past with the Hover window and seem to remember that it was recommended not to use it.

It won't be anytime soon, but I'll put it on my list if no one else gets to it first.

When I recently looked at it, the respawn_options list didn't appear to get filled in and HandleRespawnFromHover just assumes it was leading to all sorts of fun.
