Default Segmentation Fault

When loading zone in Gentoo linux 2.6.8 kernel I get the following error.
...
[Status] Loading npcs
[Status] Loading npc faction lists
Segmentation fault

prompt>

I've tried a couple different databases, but zone craps out at this point on every one. world loads fine with only the load items error. Does anyone know what could possibly be up with this? Thanks.

Default Can any of the devs comment on this?

Is this the best way to fix this issue? If so, what "older" version seems to work the best? Thanks

Default Seems connected to the 2.6 kernel.

I booted in with my old backup kernel, 2.4, and zone loaded with no trouble, no crash.

Am I going to have to setup my old kernel again just to be able to run this, or is there something that can be done to fix it when running under 2.6? Thanks

We had this issue again. We use 2.4 kernel. And we were getting this. we swapped out a previous one (Before doodmans 2.6 fix) and it works fine.

Default We need a fix..for the fix...I think..

I'm sure I used a version before that fix, and I was getting the same trouble, but I'll double check to make sure...
