Question Bots + 2 real players in group?

Are there any tricks to getting bots and players working together well in a single group? My wife and I are starting to play together but everything I add her to my group with my 4 bots things are a little strange. Sometimes I am completely invisible to her, though my health bar is greyed out like I am offline. Other times I have no health bar at all on her screen but she can at least see my character and click me to heal. If I start the group with her and I, then add my bots, they will not function at all and just stand in place. So I always have to start my group with them then add her at the end.

Anyway, just hoping there is some simple workaround I am missing to making this smooth.

This is on a private server on version 0.8.0 server with rev 974 PEQ database.

Well, I seem to be having more luck tonight by using just the invite button and not #bot group add. I started by grouping my wife's character, summoning my bots, then one by one clicking them and using the actual invite button. My wife was then able to see all the characters (and me, finally!), and the bots seem fully functional. previously this failed if I did the same process but using #bot group add.
