Default Server help :<

I used to play everquest way back in the day and it's been my favorite game. I recently came across EverQuest titanium and downloaded it, but I cannot afford the fee and such, but i really wanna play EQ. I found out about this site and have no idea on how to use it ._. I've been trying for a while to find out how to play it offline or single player if possible (i realise its called an mmo for a reason so spare me the bs plz) . I can't figure out a way so the next best thing is a private server with a small community and normal rates.. Anyone know of how I can get in a server as if it were the original only with a smaller community and no fee? I tried before but am hopeless about making my own server and im not a very smart man =/ If someone could guide me step by step about how to play EQ with normal rates on ANY server that wud be much help even if I were by myself.. =) Thx ^^

This will get you started on how to play on servers that others have created, and if you wanna try your hand at a single player version check this out.

Here is the playguide:

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=PlayGuide

And if you want to run a server, this is probably the easiest way to get setup:

Also, you mentioned downloading Titanium, but EQEmu only works if you install either Titanium or Secrets of Faydwer directly from the retail disks. Even if you downloaded it from SOE, it won't be the correct version.

EDIT: Damn, beat me to it

If you can, can anyone link me to a working download of axclassic? But before u do will axclassic work with a downloaded version of titanium and not the discs themesselves?

here is the link , But I have no Idea on your second question. The only thing I know for sure that it is frowned upon very badly around here even bringing it up.

AXClassic still uses the eqemu source code, so it has the same restrictions that any server setup would. If you purchased Titanium from SOE as a digital download, it definitely won't work with eqemu at all. If you downloaded it illegally, that is not allowed to be discussed here at all.
