Help with EQEMu setup.

OK I need some help I want to setup a LAN server for me and my friend(s). Maybe a friend or two from next door via online.

I'm new and read almost all the FAQs and I have no idea where to start. Also I have the EQ Pack with all 7 expansions (I would hope it works). I heard that updating doesn't work does it?

Also I saw that the SF page does not have minilogin (whatever it was) How can I set this up? Anyone willing to help me?

mini-login is dead there is no way to have a lan-set up anymore.

Thats kinda lame. Anyways, How can you login to the EQ server then? I write emulators like this all the time, I know that much ;P
I also can see there are emulators running (top of the webpage).
How do they make a server?

Oh and I forgot, till looking for some help on how to set it up.

There's a central loginserver.

Mini-login is for LAN/offline use.

You join by reading the play guide, you make a server by following the running a server guide(s)
