Default release date

does anyone have the build date on the currently playable eqgame.exe. i'm digging though the macroquest forms for a version match. also, since i'm playing on a lan game (no outside access) what i'm trying to do is emulate my real EQ setup, i normally bot 6 toons, but i can't find a version of eqwindows that will run this version any ideas?

I don't think that you will find a working version of EQ Windows. Only certain servers have kept old versions that still work (i.e. Winter's Roar)

Also, I don't believe any version of MacroQuest works with the emulator either. Many server Ops have requested that.

Eqemu 7.0 was never a live playable version, its an off the disk install, so macroquest / eqw wont work. Neither will diferent UI's that people have made.

Mrea> everyone can find a version of MQ that works with Emu as long as you find the right MQ sources (depending of the date of their creation && the date of the eqgame.exe).

Now, I'm not sure if the 'cheat' plugins (spam_atk, warp) work with 0.7.0 but I sincerly hope that they have been fixed because they ruined any pvp server..

the eqgame.exe right off the titanium disks were NEVER used on live, so there isnt a version that will work without changing them.

Agreed mattmeck but i was answering to Mrea. Actually, you can play on any 0.7 servers and have a working version of MQ. I know that because I've tested it on my server.

Now, as long as the cheats commands and plugins (zone,warp,spam_atk) don't work, that's ok.

Default mq2 for 60dr2

well once upon a time had MQ2 for 60dr2, but somehow i've managed to have lost it. I went back to macroquest2 site and they apparetnly deleted all the old stuff there which sux for sure. I like to use it cuase it was an easy way to spot mobs on the map when building the world. Too bad someone deleted the archive from macroquest2.
too bad i dont know c++ or i'd make a plugin for the emulator itself that allows GM status account to have the mobs show up on the everquest maps ingame

oh found out why i couldnt fint it is under different link
