Default Spell Importer

Hey GeorgeS,

Im loving your spell importer but I have been running into issues since there is no SoD format for importing. Ive been working on a project and when people use the SoD format from Secrets spell editor then I try to use your Spell Importer for SoF it crashes.

Any chance this could get updated soon?

Thanks

I have not used it in ages - I'll take a look.

Try Null's spell editor, I just tried it and it works ok. I work with the spell file directly.

can you please explain the process a little bit?

I understand that there is no spells_us.txt required in the eqemuserver folder anymore.

So i guess the server takes the DB spells_new table.

When I set up a blank PEQ server, everything works fine, when I compare my spells_us.txt with the spells_new table, it slightly differs.

When I load my spells_us.txt into the spells_new I loose every spell above 65, all below 65 work perfectly fine; no 255 spells.

How should I do this? take NullS editor and connect to what? the spell file and than load the spell file with your Spell importer into the DB?
NullS editor does not let me change the DB, it conencts, but there is no change possible. I dont know why.
