A small question about the main.php file

Rogean sent me the main.php file that shows the news and all, but how do I make the subject titles larger font, and put a link next to it that says Comments? I tried but im really bad at php and I just want a news on my main page, otherwhise ill do all the other php coding myself. Any help is appreciated.
