problem with “EQEmu Login Server” shutting down

I am having a problem with “EQEmu Login Server” shutting down. If “EQEmu Login Server” has been running for more than a day without anyone logging in, and someone tries to login, it shuts down.

The dialog box on the server screen informs me:

And I get a lot of these in the “eqemu_debug_world_3692.log

Now, if I just restart the “EQEmu Login Server” by double clicking the “EQEmuLoginServer.exe” or reboot the server, everything starts working fine and I can login fine. But, if I wait a day, I get the same problem again.

Anyone have any ideas on what may be causing the problem?

This server is win 2k3 std 32 but, MySQL ver 5.1.39

I decided to use mysql 5.0.x to avoid those issues.

I don't know why though.

Did you have the problem that i described, then went to sql 5.0.x to fix it?

Actually my problems were worse. I couldn't get it to work, so I just tried older version used in guide and it worked. Go figure.

Actually if I remember right, 5.1 have reserved field "Range" which is in conflict with peq data field.

I am now using MySQL 5.0.82, ActivePerl 5.10.0.1007 and I am still receiving this problem. Can anyone help? The log files still produce a 10061 error. When I restart "EQEmuLoginServer.exe, I can login. But if no one is logged in for an extended period of time, say a day or so, and then you try and login again, this error happens and "EQEmu Login Server" crashes.

I don't know much about MySQL interaction, but the vibe I get is that the "EQEmu Login Server" process, after a day or so with no logins, somehow forgets how to talk with the peqlogindb.

Any suggestions on how to trouble shoot this? The firewalls on my client and server box's are off. and the client *can* login after "EQEmu Login Server" is started.

On a whim I decided to install and check out MySQL 5.1.49 on my Windows XP 32 bit system. I was using 5.0.83

All is still working fine using 5.1.49 with minilogin, server, database, compiling, etc.
