Default a little advice :) ?

I played everquest for 6 ... yeah... 6 long years
I left after they raised the level cap to 70... (what expansion was that?!)

anyways
I just recently ordered titanium... and then i stumbled on this site... ah ... finally...

i really can't wait to get my own server up and running and just go solo and cheat a little bit and have a fun adventure in the game...

so I am wondering... it is possible to set up my own server and just play solo without even needing internet right?
and I can be a GM?

I will post again once i install titanium, probably later this week
does it take a lot of power to run the server and play on the same computer?
will zoning work ok? and will i be able to go to every zone in that expansion and still see mobs? im not sure what the deal is here...

Your first stop should be the Wiki, from the root of this site. Search for "Windows Server" and you should get all the setup info you need (basic MySQL and network techie concepts are a plus). As for system specs, some people here have some real crappy hardware, and the EMu runs fine. Just stay at around 5 (default) dynamic zones, you'll use maybe 500k ram at the most.

Start of with installing MySQL, PERL, then
cavedudes installer pack is the simplest way to start IMO
