Horizontal spell gem window in Underfoot

Hello all,

I am running the Underfoot client and I would like to have a horizontal spell gem window. I haven't been able to find one on eqinterface and was wondering if anyone had any experience doing such a thing. I tried changing the VerticalLayout screen piece to HorizontalLayout and the window displays horizontally exactly as I want. However, the window gets located by the client on the far right edge of the screen with most of the window off the screen. I can reposition it, but when I log out and log in again, the client sticks the window back off to the side and off the screen. Anyone know why this happens?

I know that I could redo the window completely so that it doesn't layout and size itself automatically (I have done this with less functionally-featured clients), but I was hoping to use the auto layout functionality.
