Default Bot Questing

have done some searching on this and havent seen anything.

floating this idea here to make sure it isnt already accounted for.. if not I may try my hand.

some quests are limited by class as to who can trigger them (1.5s)..

it would be cool if our bots could have their own quest progressions.. and via #bot we could facilitate quest turnins on their behalf.

thoughts?

i love. ill say it again.. Love! the bot functionality. i had a blast ripping through guk and sol b yesterday and finished w a Naggy kill. how fun

Sorry for necroing a thread that's almost 8 yrs old, but I love bots and I also would love to see this functionality. I reckon one possible approach could be done two new commands:

^botsay <botname> <target> could be used to make bots talk to NPCs
^botquestgive <botname> <target> could take whatever's on the player's cursor and hand it in from the bot, much like the way we give and remove from the bot inventory. Returned items could go to the player's cursor, or directly into inventory.

I'm not sure if faction or deity could be an issue, but I think for the commands most of the functionality is already there because the bots can already speak and send/receive from our inventory.

I would love to have epic wielding bots!
