Default Gnomish Proving Grounds - Progression .... We're back!

After a year away, Gnomish Proving Grounds is back folks! We are on a new powerful server, new scaling, new custom content, and a TON of fun!

There was a COMPLETE server wipe, so be sure to reserve your old names!

Server (Gnomish PG)
Progression: Starting with classic / kunark / velious
Custom Quests: Server charm, repeating earring, newbie gear, buff bot, spell scribe, #peqzone

We have had a great welcome so far after being live for only a few days. I've seen some old faces, and lots of new players. Come check us out!

Just an update. Many players are working together and have downed several velious and kunark bosses. The only classic boss to die so far has been phinny.

Raids will likely start tonight with NToV or perhaps something classic. Come check us out!

Another update!

The server now has instancing / waypoints.

Raid zones have buff bots to help things move along. Custom epic quests for berserker / beastlord since the server is currently in velious.

Respawn times are tweeked to allow everyone a shot at bosses without waiting 4 days for a "window" on a raid target.

Tons of custom side-content coming soon!

We have had an average of about 30 players logged in lately, and would love to see more! Guilds are working together to take down bosses. It's fun!

We've been getting busy lately, and i need an assistant developer that's interested in spawning / pathing..

I have been developing 6 man instances for side-leveling and gearing, but can't do everything myself to keep up with the player demand.

I've been messing around on emu and live servers for about 8 months now and I just recently found the Gnomish Progression server. While live was fun the drama made it less than worthwhile, and all of the other emu servers became boring very quickly.

The Gomish Progression server however is [I]by far[I] the most fun I've had on any EQ server in a long long time. The community is great and growing and Ashes is quite possibly the most dedicated GM and Developer I've ever run into. I recommend this server for anyone wishing to relive the best days of Everquest without all the drama and bs that goes on over at the TLP servers from soe.

I have to agree with Zaide. The community is great and Ashes is fantastic. The balance is great too - most non-top-raid mobs are soloable for many classes.

We have just entered the Shadows of Luclin expansion! 2 large guilds are competing for progression firsts. It is a blast watching these guys go at it!

Normal nightly population hits between 65 - 78 players and there's a great community forming!

Default newbie

Hi, I'm new to playing on Gnomish PG and started a druid, it seems SoW isn't working, at least from rivervale vender. Is there a site to report these things or to see what changes are made from original game? Thanks
