Support::General SupportPost all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.
Just installed the EQ client and it's been running fine until I installed WinEQ. Now when I launch the EQ window it says "No 3D device found" and fails to launch. It's possible my drivers aren't updated as I just restored my laptop, but I'm having no luck at all fixing it. Can anyone help a brotha out??
I remember having a problem like this. I think I had to change one of the config files in the game directory to resolve it. I know that is barely anything to go on, but maybe someone else can chime in with specifics.
Until then, nuke WinEQ if you are chomping at the bit to play.
Might be the eqclient.ini. Try moving it out of your EQ client directory and relaunch EQ. It will create a new one but you will lose all your ingame settings.
Everytime I have had this issue updating/installing graphics card drivers fixes it. With a fresh restore you may not have your graphics card drivers up to date making the card unreadable.
