Default Nub Question, Restoring rot corpses from backup

I have had a few players let their corpse rot. I see the backup corpse in the player_corpses_backup. I have tried copying the row for a players corpse and adding it to the normal player_corpse, I have tried burying the corpse as well. No matter what I have done though I am unable to summon the corpse in game or restore it. I could not find a proper command in game either, #corpse and those alike did not work. I searched and could not find the answer in the forums or wiki.

Thanks for the help!

How'd you attempt to overwrite? A direct copy and paste of the entire row in to a new row? Or through a query?

EDIT: I see you directly copy and pasted, but in what manner? Database -> Text -> Database? Dump to SQL File?

in navicat I just went to the corpse backup and selected entire row, copied, then went to the player corpse table and pasted it in. I only had 1 corpse by another player in the list so it definitely wasn't interfering with another.

I could see the corpse when I did a corpse check in game but I could not get it to pop in game, I guess you could say.

Weird, I don't know, never had that issue, possibly up the amount of time it takes a corpse to decay to a week?

EDIT: May I ask why they need their corpses after 24 hours of it laying there? Do their items stay on it or something?

I do not have shadowrest in. I guess people login and die and then don't come back for a week. After the corpse rots the save goes to the backup and items are saved that they had on the body, which is why the restore would be nice. I have had to just resummons basic items to cover for the loss.

I have gear loss after lvl 10 so if they die they gotta CR. I upped the corpse rot time to 1 year though since I cant figure it out lol

Evenif you do not enable access to shadowrest itself, if you turn on the rules for it, the corpse will not be in the backup table and you will be able to summon it with you GM toon.
