Default MySQL Question

I've tried deleting all of the MySQL files so I can start from scratch on rebuilding a server - however some of the files I couldn't delete, so I booted to a DOS prompt, and proceeded to delete them that way, however it still saved my username/password from the previous time, and I don't remember what I set them as, is there anyway to find this information out, or to set a new username/password so I can continue?

Your username and password are rpobably stored in the registry somewhere. Try using regedit to delete anything My Sql related or run the uninstaller for the program.
