Default Older wolf model sizing

Was piddling with the sizes of the older wolf model, instead of looking at little puppies running around.

I'm trying to dig up info on what their actual size may have been back in those days. I figure the common black wolf wasn't much smaller than a halfling, haha

P99 has this dialed in pretty much spot on as far as I recall. The sizes all seemed right to me when I played there.

Ya, I'd thought about taking a look at theirs. It's a pita between the older and newer models for sizing, because a size 6 post-luclin is a lot bigger than a size 6, in these older texture models. Puppies gone wild ..... haha

Yeah I had to go through and resize everything in my quest for a more "classic" experience. I recall the newbie wolves always being small back in the day so I think I have those all set at size 4. a black wolf, a silvermist wolf, etc. I made dire wolves and others larger. Size 6 I think?

It helps a lot when someone has the memories to go by, but actual verified data from that era is tedious, if not impossible to dig up, leaving knowledge and resources being limited to "tabloid" history written on the internet. Kind of like, "The earth is round.", "No it's not, it's flat."

Even various patch history archives have been conflicting in some areas with different data, so it's hard to settle with one conclusion. I wasn't around until after Luclin, so the only concrete piece of fact I have is my friend's original install disk from 99. I had forgotten about it until I started rumaging through my old boxes, then got this stupid idea to check out the files on it, now I'm on this spontaneous fact-finding journey, haha.
