I'd totally play again if there were no Luclin, PoP and whatever they've released after (I stopped paying attention).

And I know a lot of former players who would as well. I think with all the recent server mergers, they would have some server room for a lone "classic" server.

It's allready been attempted with EQEMulator before ( http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/showthread.php?t=14040 ) but if SOE made one I would most likely play it.

No. And as though it sounds great, I dont think it would work. Part of the fun in EQ Classic was not knowing what was to come, not being able to find out unless you venture yourself. Dangerous zones become lengendary, not mapped out for you on Allakhazam.

While it might be fun occasionally, most have us if not all, almost all classic zones in EQ and that kind of knowledge kind of ruins it.

C++ is wonderful.

No. not only because i know it would still blow (because of the new corpse and quest systems, pretty much everything new about EQ Live) but because i won't ever pay for a SOE game again...
