Default Target error

Hey I followed every instructions to my knowledge and was soooooo extremely excited to play but when i clicked it. It trys to load but then a little windwo comes up and says Please run Everquest.exe I looked at my target in the properties and its all correct. Anybody know how to bypass this?

Make sure this is the guide you followed:

You are missing the patchme argument in your path of your shortcut to eqgame.exe.

i followed the guide and put in the patchme mine still says please run everquest.exe

Look at it again, you have either put patch me in the wrong place, maybe in quotes, etc.
