Default Mobs colors

Is there a way to change the color of mobs with EOC? I have tryied everything I could think of and cant figure it out. I am working on Crystallos and I added in the Squires. It uses the Velious Dragon body but of course they are all the same color. So how do I change Alkaa to Red like he is supposed to be?

Usually changing the texture to a different number changes the npcs color. Gender will change the appearance sometimes too. Try those if you havent already.

One of the devs shared this in another thread: http://www.shendare.com/EQ/Emu/EQRI/

You may be able to find what you're looking for there..or at least enough info to keep you from wasting a lot of time guessing at usable values.

I always try to share what i learn when people need it. All I did was use what Uleat posted. It shows all the different textures for each area. The Textures I need for Crystallos was 0-5. Just go into the EOC and edit the mob ... change the texture to whichever one you want and reboot the server to see what it looks like.
