Mangoo Item Editor Questions

Im using Item Editor 3.3

When i add new items (p.e. ID 100000-100050) and like to change them (name, stats and so on) and i click save he says
"Failed to save to database"
And he won't affect the changes. ( I log in as "root" into database)
When i load world.exe he refuses to load the item table, cause he says there are too much items, i need to redefine the item numbers. (Caused by the new added (empty) ID's i think)

Or when i take an existing item (p.e Cloth Tunic) and change the name, save it to .itm or .sql and put that into database, my world.exe bugs and closes.

Im pretty new to EQEmu, and i would like to ask you, if someone can tell me, how i can create/edit item and put them into dabase so i can use it in EQ...
Is there a way i can edit or create item and simply safe them into dabase, or do i need to source every new item into database...how does this system works?
