Serialize Items.pl

Heya... having a bit of trouble getting my serialise items.pl to work... have followed the instructions found in the tutorial.. but stumbled :

upon typing 'install dbd'
it says

Error Package 'dbd' not found. Please 'search' for it first.

So i typed search dbd, and it gave me a list of 40 options with dbd in it, and i havnt a clue which one to load... please advise
