Default Big zoning issues in 5.9 DR2

Well when I switched over to 5.9 DR2, it doesn't matter what my safe zone settings are anymore, I fall under the world in Grimling forest and Hollowshade Moore at least. I have changed the safe point, zone in points, and everything drops me under the world. Have even used the spell Grimling Gate and still was dropped under the world so I know this is not a db error at all.

--edit--
Just went back to 5.9 DR1 just to be sure, and everything works perfectly with the same settings I was using in DR2.

I had the same problem, and could not track it down as a DB problem.

I upgraded from 5.7 and my chars were all fubar too, so I wonder if this has something to do with it.

Glad I backed up my 5.7 DB, had to revert back to it.

Yea its kinda off subject from my post, but I know what you mean about chars getting all messed up in the upgrade from 5.7 to 5.8/5.9.. pretty much don't expect to keep your chars if you upgrade :P

There were probably some changes made to the zoning struct, so it'll take a few to get those figured out. Zoning itself works...there's just an issue where folks appear above the safe z in their zones table.

I always have #flymode 1 as my last command before I #zone anymore lol

I also want to point out that the destination heading of doors doesn't seem to be working properly when used as a teleporter within the same zone. Not sure if this is related to the same code or not.

I never intended for the character converters to convert from more than one version back, you skipped a version of the converter since you didnt upgrade until now, that is what is causing your problem. However, it should be fixed now to convert your character from that old version.
