Default DB Error - Invalid password

okay. so my password is correct. its the same one i use to log into EQemu (right?) what else should i do?

i'm able to get all the way into the start screen, i click log in, type my user name, then my password, and it pops up "DB Error - Invalid Password

You need to go into your User CP and create a login server account to log into the game with.

Hmm. So I did that, still DB Error ---... Any other tips?

Make sure you followed the play-guide and are using the patchme option in your shortcut. Otherwise, you might be connecting to a EQLive login server, which will fail. There are other suggestions in the FAQ in my sig as well.

Okay. I got it. Now do I need to login through the EQemu launcher or through EQ..?

When I use the EQemu, and try to connect, it says my eqhost.txt file needs to be patched. Its exactly what the play-guide says.

If you are getting any kind of patch message when logging in, you probably forgot to use the patchme argument in your EQ shortcut you made while following the guide. If you are getting some kinda patch message after clicking to connect to an actual server on the server-list, that may be another issue.

I'm still having trouble loging into one of my accounts. It was working a couple of days ago though.
