Default Installing Server: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

When I try to run the server setup installer I keep getting the following error over and over again. Not sure how to get past it. Any ideas?

So I opened eqemu_install.bat with NotePad++ and went straight to the link, created an eqemu_server.pl manually. When I run it, it says my computer is not connected to the internet... yet... here I am making this post. I tried disabling my firewall but it still says no internet connection.
When I use the command new_server it says it's not connected and just closes. I had to snap a screenshot to see what it was saying because it was closing so fast.
Now I'm remembering why I gave up last time, lol.

Not sure if this will enlighten you, but I have to log into my (ISP) cable modem and drop the firewall in there, down a notch to run the update script, or I get the same message.

Hmm... interesting. I looked at my the modem's setting and mine's firewall is less of a tiered system and more of a series of settings. I tried disabling a few things but kept getting the issue. Finally gave up and restored the defaults. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

So I've tried a few things:
1. Checked my OS version. Windows 10 x64 just like the installer page says.
2. Completely deactivated my McAfee firewall and real time scanner.
3. Setting up the port forwarding on my router (as listed here).
4. Uninstalling the programs installed and running the .bat file again.
5. Banging my head on the desk and praying for a swift end to my torment.
6. Speaking really nicely to it.
7. Speaking very sternly to it.
8. Tweaking my ISP (AT&T) router's firewall settings.
9. Completely uninstalling McAfee and running the .bat file again.

I installed it on a fairly fresh install. I installed it the day I got the actual PC and the only things I really installed prior was my McAfee through AT&T as a habit since that's usually the first thing I do.
I appreciate any insight anyone can give.

I made a little bit of progress tonight. I found out the .bat was having that error because Windows uses the default TLS version of 1.0, but 1.2 is most commonly used. So I had to add some stuff to the .bat by editing it in notepad. I added " [Net.ServicePointManager]::SecurityProtocol = [Net.SecurityProtocolType]::Tls12; " right in front of "Invoke-RestMethod" to force it to use TLS 1.2 and it seems to have gotten the .bat file to work up until after it downloads the .pl and json file.

Now the .pl is giving me all sorts of grief. I side stepped the issue of the connection by editing the script to skip the connection check and set the variable to "1". But it's really unpredictable after that. I keep getting windows pop ups saying, "This app can't run on your PC > To find a version for your PC, check with the software publisher." But I'm running the OS version it says on the install page.

Is there an easier way to go about this?

You seem to be having some unique/rare/uncommon issues. Many people have installed the server on a Win 10 OS. You mentioned these two things:
Setting up the port forwarding on my router.
Tweaking my ISP (AT&T) router's firewall settings.

Does this mean you have both an isp modem and a seperate router ?
As far as that "no internet connection" message, the only advice I can give, is temporarily disable any and all firewalls you have, until the server install goes through. If you've already totally disabled all firewalls (software, windows, modem, router) and still getting that message, then you're box has some unknown, underlying conditions going on.
Like I said, MANY have installed this on a Win 10 OS, successfully already.
