Default Making quests need a question on spells answered.

Hi,
I am trying my hands at making some various NPCs such as Soulbinders, and Healers. What I can't figure out is how to determine what spell is what in the database. I used Mysql Control Center and looked around at the spell tables. I see the NPC spell IDs, but don't know what each ID is linked to which spell. Is there a way to figure out that information so I can use the spell ID in the quest file to be cast by the NPC?

Thanks
John

Look in Spells_en.txt

Spells are numbered and such in that text file. You can find it in your EQ directory.

What is better is to do a spell search on Allakhazam.com and then when you find a spell you want click "raw spell data". It then brings up a page with all kinds of numbers and stuff on it, but one of the rows is "id" and that number is what you want.

you can open open spells_us.txt look at the number to the left of the name, or you can in-game use #findspell.

C++ is wonderful.
