Default Trying to Update Race/Model Lists

Guys, I'm working on a project (an auto zone spawn generator) where I need updated race/model lists. I am trying to combine work done by a few people on the Wiki pages, such as at
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...ModelReference
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...akka=RaceLists
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...ka=NewRaceList
etc.

I am working to complete and update the spreadsheet linked to on that last page at the following link through the SoD expansion:
http://devpatience.googlepages.com/racelist.xls

If anyone has played around with any zones past DoN/DoD with raceid >= 475, and have any information written down, I would appreciate it. I have extracted all races from the DbstrUs.Txt files from SoD, but need help linking the raceid to the model text code (avi for aviak), as well as the file it's in (southkarana_chr) or if it's global. I would also need to know if there's a male/female/neutral version, and whether the model works when trying to spawn mobs in their correct zone. One thing I'm adding to that spreadsheet is bodytype, so that you can quickly see if a model should be undead/giant/ etc. I can do all of this, but if anyone has already done some of it, it would just be less work for me.

I will be updating the Wiki pages with all of the information once I compile it all, so any help I get will help anyone in the community who could use the data, such as anyone trying to create custom content/spawns with a handy reference.

Thanks!

Well, I think you could be saved a TON of work if we can find the work that Shendare did a while back per this thread:

http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=28639

His tool was able to pull a ton of race info from the EQ folder. I probably have the tool downloaded somewhere, but I will need to search around my hard drive to see if I can find it for you. If so, I think that will help you quite a bit. I recently tried contacting Shendare via PM on these forums, but never got a reply. You might try sending him a PM too and see if he replies. I had worked with him a few times on a few things, but maybe he doesn't have his PMs set to email him or something. If needed, maybe I can email him at the email he registered on these forums with. That is, if I can't find the files he sent me a while back. Unfortunately, all of the links he sent are now dead links.

Yeah, I saw that post and tried the link too and saw he hasn't been on since like January. I'll try PMing him as well. If not, it's not too hard to get the info, I just didn't want to if someone already had. Also, if someone has the races past SoD, which is 624+ I think, I could use them as well. I won't have the chr files to find those, though. But through SoD would be a great start I think.

I hadn't even thought of all of the different textures. Something to think about I guess..

I would like to do this also. If anyone knows what files to look in or how to add the new races to be global please lemme know.

I know for global load u do

1,0,TFFF,abysmal_chr,Loading Characters

i dunno what the rest is but the yellow is a file containing the models i assume. I cant find the files for the new SoD zones, hell we dont even have a good list of SoD zones yet.

Huh?

Trevius did this forever ago...

Alla did this even longer ago

Besides that, the global load stuff isn't related to this query at all unless you want to enable all models so you can do #race ### ingame to see what model is produced.
