Default Eqemu login / Lan / 1017 / Credential

First off... Thank you. The site, all the help, and all the hard work.

I'm having an issue logging after the server select screen. Both through the site, and on my home server. I've always had luck with the minilogin setup, so I'm guessing this has to do with my lack of knowledge with the eqemulogin server setup.

As I mentioned, I can see my server, but after selecting, I get a 1017 error.
using sod opcodes.

eqemu login server:
using port:5999
database server: localhost
database username: username
database password: password

Server (TCP) listener started.
Total World Server TCP Connections is 0
Total Worls Server Registrations is 0
New Server TCP connections from 192.168.1.99:1391
New Client UDP connection from 192.168.1.51:60344
User: Gregk
Hash: (string of characters)
Creating credential for account 4.
Removed credential for account 4
There are 0 credential record(s).
(1017 error on pc running eq.)
New Client UDP connection from 192.168.1.51:60344
Hash: (bunch of characters)
creating credentials for account 4.
There are 1 credential record(s).

and so the cycle repeats.

Using SoD from Steam (without underfoot patch)
tried SoF client. changed opcodes for that
added login info from peqlogindb to account table in Peq

I'm stuck. Any info or direction at this point would be most appreciated. In the mean time, I"ll just keep messing with stuff and see what happens.

Problem solved.

First were the settings in theworldserverregistration
1. standard server should reflect standard server in the Serverlisttype.
2 trusted server should be set to 1.
3. Don't add account info into peq account table. Login server does it for you. (I tried that while troubleshooting)

When keeping several different versions of eq on a hard drive, make sure you adjust the right one....
