Kk went thru the frequently asked questions and found the one about the time out. The message takes only about 10-15 secs to pop up which means i didnt patch to live (I know I didnt). Redid the eqhost.txt file to see if maybe somehow a space or something. Still get the same message. Any have any advice could u pm me or post here thank you

Well, if it worked before and doesn't work now then there's something wrong with your computer or your connection.

Did you install any new software recently? Have you checked to make sure your firewall or anti-virus isn't blocking it? Have you rebooted your modem and router?

You might want to try restarting your modem and router. If that still doesn't work, you could try resetting your router to factory defaults and setting it back up again. Certain routers have issues with having multiple entries in the port forwarding configs and can cause weird random connection issues like that (had it happen multiple times to me on my old Linksys).

Reset my modem and redownloaded my internet connection( comcast ) it finally did the trick. My power went out during that hurricane down the east coast. Guessing when my power went out it fucked with my internet connection.
