Server Creation

I apologize in advance if I'm just another one of those noobs who isn't paying attention hard enough to the guides and is wasting thread space on already answered questions. I am, however, quite lost. I want to create a EQemu server and run it, but the guides I've read so far have either been outdated or contained links that don't work. (For instance, on Malignus's guide, he or she says download EQemu 6.0 - perl enabled at http://adam.eqemulator.net/11-09-04_Compiled_Perl.zip , but the link doesn't work.) The guide is really an elaborate guide and I think it's wonderful that they spent the time to make it. However, I am quite lost and the broken link isn't helping. So to the question, could anyone possibly either find me a good and simple but accurate guide (or even write one) as to how I can create and run my own EQemu server. I would GREATLY appreciate it.
