Default Just installed SoF

Hey,

I just installed SoF and ran through a few zones to check it out on my server. It looks as though a lot of mobs have the basic human graphic. yet when I run through using my Titanium install they look correct. Some of the ones showing as human under SoF include Rats, Deathfist orcs, and bats.

Any ideas? Do I need to change something on my client or is this a server thing? I would think it is client related since things look right on Titanium. Little weird seeing human looking rats. lol

I noticed the same exact thing when I was running around in West Freeport with the SoF client. This is with the PEQDB. Maybe the models are messed up in the database or something. /shrug

I'm sure it's easily fixable, so don't fret.

It has to do with how many of the old zones have been revamped. Now, if you wanted to use the newer versions of zones like Freeport, Southro, etc, you would need to make adjustments so that things are setup to use the new zone layout. Otherwise, you have spawns trying to move around in a zone that is a different shape than the one you are in and weird stuff will happen. Also, many races were updated so rats would use new models and other races use different models, so you would have to adjust those races to the new ones.

This thread might help a bit as well:
