Default How do you get this running on Windows 7?

When I try to do the step where you change the host to "Host=eqemulator.net:5998" and try to save it , it says "access denied". Any solutions?

Move your EQ folder outside of the Program Files folder. This is the easiest fix without modifying folder permissions.

Or right click your notepad/wordpad and select run as administrator. Then open the file and edit it that way..

You most likely need to "Take Ownership" of the file.

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windo...menu-in-vista/ is a very easy guide to follow that helps you do that. Give that a try and see if it helps.
