So I've done everything to open and forward port 3306 with no luck. Essentially my ISP blocks it and there is nothing I can do. EOC is basically out of the question because of this.

Nulls does not recognize the new table changes specifically row 125 and im sure there are others.

PEQ doesn't exactly work all that well, i see "Unknown spell" for all custom spells I make with zero ability to inspect them w/mq2.

Sooo what alternatives do I have?

You can download the EOC dev VM and use EOC that way locally

I was curious. What does one download to set this up on an already existing
Debian 7.8 box (local), as in, sitting on my desk here ?

Not sure what you mean download, it's not a single install program and all the code is on the github accompanied with the Wiki.

Easiest route is to just use the VM and pull down latest code

sorry, guess I am confused about something from the page:

Code:
I have provided a convenient download to a development environment that can get you going in mere minutes. It is completely pre-configured with the following:

Virtual Machine - VMWare (Player/Workstation)

You will need one of the Type 2 Hypervisors, either will work just fine:
    VMWare Player Download (Free)
    VMWare Workstation Download (Not Free)
What I am looking at is running this whole EOC on a linux box,(not windows),
Is this whole VM worksation for a windows box ?

If the instructions are confusing, that's why there is the public EOC, so people can use it with minimal effort
