If you're only going to play on another server you can throw those files away, those are to host your own server.

The unpatched Titanium client is really a POS, but it's the best we have to work...

Does the SOD patcher change the hosts file on the pc?
You can check it here C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
See if there are any lines in there related to everquest.

There are many servers all tied to the same login...

There are many servers all tied to the same login server, some of those servers have as many as 200 people on at once. This community is the front line of Everquest server emulation. Anywhere else...

Thats probably a zone file issue... Everquest revamped many zones after Titanium, and we're not using them in the emulator.

I ended up reinstalling completely to make sure I got it, and it's still not working... I can access the http server from another pc on my network, but I cant seem to get root access to the database...

The fact that you're able to login to another server means nothing more than the fact that you have a good installation of EQ Titanium. I don't know if this will run in Vista relaibly... too many...

What is the # for before the name? I thought it was to # it out like in vi, but now i'm not sure... I see some quests setup like that and they still work. Is it there so that they aren't activated...
