Default Frustration

Hey all, I finally tracked down and nabbed a copy of Titanium, Followed all the steps, FAQS, etc here, and still I get bounced back to the login screen when trying to join the servers, and if I DO manage to get into PQE, I can get as far as creating a new toon, then getting bounced yet again back to the login screen after a very long lag when I attempt to enter the game.

I honestly don't know whats wrong

Ports are open, firewall happy, setup and tweaking for the servers done, upto date drivers...

Any assistance would be great before my brain explodes

Try reading the FAQ in my sig. You are probably running a multi-core CPU. If so, you probably need to apply some fixes for it. Or, maybe you are running Vista. There are multiple reasons that can cause the issue you are seeing. We need more details if possible.

And you are 100% sure that at no point you patched to live at all? Even if it starts patching at all, you will have to do a full reinstall of Titanium.

Not even a byte, I re-installed just in case

I have gotten in once or twice now, but I get bounced every time I load a zone (including dying) or sometimes just randomly. Still get the same issue though

It could be a video card driver issue, a RAM issue or maybe even a bandwidth issue. Try running in compatibility mode from the shortcut (as described from the FAQ link to dual core issues). You also probably want to try adjusting your game settings from the screen where you log into EQ at, and make sure to exit it and restart it after making any changes for them to take effect. Also, make sure you aren't running any programs that might be using all of your bandwidth (like torrents or P2P programs).
