Same problem with me, and I got the exact same computer.I've gone through some of the suggestions with the quad CPU issue thing, and nothings worked yet.

Same thing for me, though I have a dual core athlon and am running XP sp3.

Any suggestions? Not gonna hold my breath for this 3 week old post =/
