It sounds like you have file extensions turned off. The application file is the exe.

I can see every other file extension, I tried to search by file type when I was unable to locate it the first time. I am going to try to download a torrent and reinstall the game that way. I am at a complete loss and no one I have talked to have any clue either. But thank you for the response I will ensure that the file extensions are indeed turned on.
