oops sorry. i didn't include that because when i used a different version, i had bad opcodes out the wazoo so didn't think it was relevant. the client is dated 5-9-05. i first started exploring eqemu on (oddly enough) 5-11 before playing that night so i copied it over to another drive. i'm also able to logon to eqemulators servers with it.
at the beginning of the readme for minilogin 6.1 says it was made for the 6.1 emulator. I've only been able to find 6.0 on sourceforge. even tried google searches. but the only one that looked relevant took me to an incomplete page:
http://www.eqemulator.net/databases_v6.php - well there was one 6.1 but it was perl and i just took a mad crash 2 week course in sql. it isn't real easy but i have learned a lot.
no disrespect by any means but i already tried those 1017 searches and then some. even various google searches. i posted here because i'm at my wits end hehe.
