Adding the maps to the map directory is what solved that problem for me. Took a few days to figure it out. happened to be watching the world.exe window one day and saw it say that I .map file was missing. went searching and found on sourceforge a 308mb file to add to the maps directory. That fixed my LOS problem, but I still get the occasional error saying that a .path file is missing not sure what they are or how to find them thou stilllooking for them.
