about light

have some question about light
-can we change the intencity of a light ?
-it is possible to add a default ambiant light ?
-and the last :
i swap my zone in indoor and put 40 light inside and now oz make 55 mn to compile the s3d (he made less than 2mn before)
can i make something for reduce that time ?
