Yeah I haven't reinstalled eq I have it I am looking at it but I haven't decided what to do with it yet. So here is another question and forgive me for asking if its against the rules, but...
Are there any versions of EQEMU that work without patches? Like just fresh installs of the first 3 cd's being velious kunark and classic.
I don't still hold an eq account I played for way to long, but I do enjoy getting back into some of the games after a while when I can do it on my own time.
Off Topic:
I was reading about the EQVER CHECK program and it shows you all that odd crap. Is there any guide that shows what versions work with what versions of EQEMU servers? I just don't understand what that has to do with it all other than knowing I have 92837498237498723948 or some random string like that.
Finally off topic but I enjoy long walks in the Karanas when Giants arent roaming and plenty of sunsets in EC
but how difficult is it to script vendors... I have seen some people have created vendors for their servers that sell items that are somewhat harder to get or are drops, which would be really cool. Scripting is done in RUBY right?
