Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Default Weird problem
Every time my friend and I try to log in, it says wrong username/password, I think it has to do with my eqhost file, but I might be wrong, my EQHost file says:
[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

So whats going on? =/

Did you create a login server account? It will be differnt from your forum account. If you go to user cp at top of this page you can then look down on the left hand side to look for login server account.

Fixed that, but now I can only log in to the PEQ server, even fathernitwit's server gives me a 1017, can you help? :-/

Nope! You will need 2 versions of eq to log into them all. You have a live compatible right now. The others are for pre 5/11 patch. You could possibly convert a live to a pre 5/11 but that kind of stuff is strictly prohibited on this site. If you do nothing then little by little the others will be converting to live.
So soon there will be more live compatibles like PEQ.
