The documentation for 6.5+ versions of the server is there it can just be a little hard to find.

As for setting up MySql and Perl you can follow these guides.
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...indowsServer64

I know it says it is for 6.4 but the set up for MySql and Perl is the same.

For the database I would suggest using PEQ which you can download from their website at:
http://www.projecteq.net

Then you will need to download the 6.6 Binaries from the download page here:
http://eqemulator.net/download.php

for the actually Server Configuration you can follow this:
http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...rConfiguration

I know a lot of this may be confusing, we are trying to get better documentation.

If you are interested in setting up an older version of the server you can always look into the DRP Serverpack located at:
http://eqemu.sesmar.net

This is a package used to setup a 6.2 server with database and very easy to follow instructions.
We are currently working on getting a version of the installer compatable with the newest server.

That page is a classic example of a page name that sucks by the way. The first few times I saw it (the page title) I thought "Ah, a port for 64 bit windows, cool", even after I knew it to be version 6.4 setup guide.

It might help if there was another name it could be found by, as it's a good guide, but that name makes you want to look somewhere else if you dont have a 64 bit windoze machine...

its pretty clearly linked on the wiki, but nobody takes the time to actually look around, much easier to post on the forums and let OTHER PEOPLE do their work for them....

If you find it via that link, yes. But if you see it in the block of links at the bottom of the page (i.e. by looking at the index you could say) it's a confusing name. It says "WindowsServer" and right next to it "WindowsServer64". I guess it's due to Wiki name mangling as much as anything.
