an idea
So I tried a fresh install and now i still get the same crash. Problem is since I cant fully get into the game my .ini file only has a few lines cause the game hasnt compiled a full EQClient.ini file.
So im pasting what options are in it now. Im thinking maybe someone could email me a copy of thier .ini file with windowed mode enabled so i can paste it into mine to get it maybe started in windowed at least.
Maybe its a waste of time but then again it might work.
The options i have to work with in my .ini are as follows.
[Defaults]
Sound=TRUE
TextureQuality=1
VertexShaders=TRUE
20PixelShaders=TRUE
14PixelShaders=TRUE
1xPixelShaders=TRUE
MultiPassLighting=FALSE
UseLitBatches=TRUE
Thats all there is and I know from years of EQ that it has about 20 x more options in a standard running .ini file.
